Photographer Bob Pardue Enters The Jurassic Period

Glen Rose Texas: The summers are hot in the mid-Texas town of Glen Rose but Jean and Bob Pardue braved the heat to get a look at the town's number one attraction. "Dinosaur World is a fine art photographer's dream." says Pardue as he proudly shows a picture of dinosaurs lazily drinking from the pond.

The park is well-known for its prehistoric sculptures from the Cretaceous and Jurassic periods. These creatures from the past are guaranteed to amaze and thrill all members of the family; young and old.

While visiting, Bob, along with his wife (and traveling companion) Jean noticed an interesting gift shop and even a dino-themed playground to keep the little tykes occupied.

The initial trip was a photo assignment out west but Pardue said that Glen Rose was a "definite worthwhile side trip" to round out his travels. "If you're ever traveling through Texas near the Dallas area, be sure and visit the giants of Dinosaur World. You won't regret it," Pardue concludes....

Bob Pardue Reduces Fine Art Photo Prices

Lancaster, SC - Photographer Bob Pardue Reduces Fine Art Print Prices Site Wide

Travel and fine art photographer Bob Pardue announced today that he has made a decision to reduce prices on all his fine art prints listed. This is not just a sporadic selection but a site wide beta project.

Why would Mr. Pardue make such a decision when his prints sell so well? According to him, the reasoning is very simple.

"I have been in this business for a long time and life is short. I finally came to the realization that many people couldn't enjoy an original fine art print for their home or office. The rates were a bit high for the 'average' working person. So, I decided that I wanted more people to enjoy my work - not just the elite." Pardue said.

Pardue also states; "With the Christmas holidays coming up, this is a wonderful time to give someone special a unique and delightful gift! Now people can give the gift of original art prints or other items while...

Bob Pardue Salutes Educators

No doubt parents of turbulent kids are excited to see schools back in session. But, what about the poor educators? It's a fact that teachers need encouragement, especially during this time of year when they don't know what to expect from new students entering their classrooms.

This photo art image is meant to do just that. It reminds the teachers of what education is supposed to be about. The goal is to encourage and inspire those in the teaching profession to move onward and upward with a famous quote by Bill Beattie. Art photographer Bob Pardue says; "My hat's off to those brave enough to educate. Hug a teacher today!"

New Art - The Indians

I'm always excited to post art from St. Augustine, Florida. My newest digital art print is an abstract made from a Native American historic display in the oldest city. You can just grab a glimpse of the bare-breasted woman serving food in a woven plate to the Braves standing to the side. I also have a more clear image I turned into a pastel in my collection. I hope you enjoy this one and will browse the others in my gallery.

New Mixed Media - The Police Car

It's a joy to go back to images I've photographed and play with them in new programs. So, this image of an old black and white police car was just begging to be turned into an "oil painting". The picture is a mixed media image and will give the look of an oil art print when hanging on the wall. Please visit the site to see more art prints.

Just Added - Digital Oil Photos

I like to create photos of oddities and this bird show picture entitled "Parrot Bill" fits the bill, so to speak. After creating the photograph, i used digital oil enhancement to give the print a "painting" feel and look. This colorful image is hopefully one of many I plan to display in this format. I will be working more on the gallery in the near future. Check it out!

New Photography Piece - Picacho Peak State Park

I love traveling through the Southeastern USA. I just can't seem to get enough of the wide open spaces. While traveling I-40 W I happened upon Picacho Peak State Park and had to photograph it. The result is one of my favorite digital art prints. I will be listing more from my trips in the near future. Check out the photo.
