Description
Fine art photo of the Great Christian cross at St Augustine Florida USA.
Mission Nombre de Dios' Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche dates back to 1565, when St. Augustine was founded.
It remains a vibrant representation of the Spanish mission era, a sacred site that attracts pilgrims from all over the world.
Pedro Menéndez de Avilés landed on September 8, 1565, and declared the site for Spain and the Church. The site was named Nombre de Dios, meaning the Name of God. Father Lopez became the first parish priest in St. Augustine.
The wall artwork makes a perfect gift idea for Christians for living room, office or den.
