This picture shows the Hoover Dam from an aerial view, taken from the bridge that connects Arizona and Nevada. The bridge is arched and one can see the highway that travels over it. The Hoover Dam is a massive concrete structure that stands tall and proud with its sloped walls and arched edge.
The powerful Colorado River flows beneath the dam and creates a picturesque setting. The colors of the dam change from brown to tan under the bright blue sky.
The busy highway spans the length of the bridge and smaller cars can be seen travelling up and down the bridge, while the occasional tour bus can be spotted in the distance.
This incredible view is a reminder of the strength and beauty of the American landscape.
