Gauguin was one of the most influential Post-Impressionist artists, whose full name was Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin (1848–1903).
His style can be likened to a symphony of color, weaving together aural and visual elements to create a captivating and thought-provoking masterpiece.
His experiments with color and stark contrast sparked the Synthetism movement. In this movement, form and color were considered equally significant. Since he spent many years in French Polynesia seeking inspiration, he tended to depict people or landscapes from there.
In the early 20th century, many avant-garde movements and modern artists like Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse were influenced by his artistic experiments.
Perfect wall art hanging for living room or den decor.
