Garden City Beach covers about 5.5 square miles and extends south to Murrells Inlet. Garden City Beach was devastated by Hurricane Hazel in October 1954, leaving only two homes habitable. As a result of Hurricane Hugo in 1989, nearly half of the beachfront structures were destroyed, including the Kingfisher Pier. Since then, the area has not experienced any major disasters.
I hope you enjoyed viewing this photo of Garden City and will consider it for your next photo order.
