Description
This photo of the Grand Canyon South Rim, Arizona shows a scenic overview of the beautiful canyon on a snowy day.
The Grand Canyon South Rim is an iconic landmark located in Arizona. It is the most-visited part of the Grand Canyon National Park and draws over 5 million visitors each year.
The South Rim is known for its incredible views of the canyon, which can be experienced through a variety of ways, including hiking, biking, camping, and more. The Canyon's South Rim stretches for nearly 200 miles and is 4,000 feet above sea level. As the highest part of the Grand Canyon, the South Rim offers some of the best views of the majestic canyon stretching before you.
The vista from the South Rim is stunning and unforgettable, taking in the full scope and grandeur of the land around you. The average temperature of the South Rim is mild to warm in the summertime, although it can get very hot during the day. In the winter, daytime temperatures usually remain mild, but temperatures can drop significantly at night. If you’re looking to explore the South Rim, you’ll find plenty of things to do.
There are numerous hiking trails throughout the south rim of the Grand Canyon National Park to suit all levels, and some are even wheelchair-accessible.
This fine art photo of the Grand Canyon South Rim was taken while on a photography assignment in Arizona by Bob Pardue, USA.
I hope you enjoyed viewing this unique color print of the Grand Canyon and will consider it for your next wall art piece for living room decor or den.
