To create an unusual art image, I combined the Jefferson Memorial, Washington DC with Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming, USA and transformed the image to black and white.
Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the Jefferson Memorial on April 13, 1943, the 200th anniversary of Jefferson's birth, after approving it in 1938.
Devil's Tower is America's first national monument declared so by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1906. The tall mountain was the focal point in the movie; "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind".
