A visit to the Oldest Wooden School House Historic Museum & Gardens will take you back in time to the late 1700s. This is when the original Minorcan homestead of Juan Genopoly was established.
A wooden schoolhouse built by the Genoply family in 1716 is over 300 years old, the oldest wooden structure in the world!
In order to preserve and conserve this rich heritage, we must conserve, interpret, and educate those who love the art of learning.
