The I. B. Perrine Bridge, located near Twin Falls, Idaho, is one of the most iconic structures in the Gem State. This bridge crosses the magnificent Snake River and measures 1,500 feet long and includes three spans connected by two piers.
It serves as a vital transportation link for travelers between Oregon and Idaho and takes drivers across the Snake River’s Twin Falls canyon.
The bridge was named after I. B. Perrine, a local businessman and prominent booster who was instrumental in promoting the bridge's construction in 1925.
It was designed by the Utah Engineering Company and built by the American Bridge Company. Today, the I. B. Perrine Bridge serves as a popular tourist destination.
It offers visitors stunning views of the Snake River and its canyons thanks to its 250-foot clearance above the river.
