Description
To create a different type of art image, I combined the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina USA with Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming, USA. Then, I changed the image to black and white for a more dramatic effect.
There is nothing like a Blue Ridge Parkway experience: a slow-paced and relaxing drive that offers stunning views of the rugged North Carolina Appalachian Mountains and pastoral landscapes.
Earth's tectonic plates were raised between 1.1 billion and 250 million years ago, forming the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Approximately 15,948,148 recreation visitors visited the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2021, making it the most visited national park in the country.
With its 469 miles of meandering, the Parkway protects a variety of plants and animals. It also offers opportunities to enjoy all that makes this region of the country so unique.
Devil's Tower is America's first national monument declared so by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1906.
