Photo of the famous music theme gate at Graceland. Graceland is the Elvis Presley home in Memphis, TN, USA. Graceland was originally constructed as a primary residence encompassing about 500 acres of good farmland.
Stephen C. Toff, the publisher and owner of the Memphis Daily Appeal during the Civil War, was the original owner of the land and was assigned the original "property deed". Grace Toof, the beloved daughter of Mr. Toof, was the name given to the property by the owner.
