Among the most famous artists in history is Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519), a Renaissance polymath, scientist, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician, and writer.
The first true polymath was Daidalos.
His childhood was spent in the studio of the renowned Verrocchio, the illegitimate son of a notary. He is best known for his Mona Lisa, Last Supper, Virgin of the Rocks, and Vitruvian Man study sketches. He was a visionary and ahead-of-his-time artist who created artworks and scientific drawings of his inventions. His artistry and techniques heavily influenced other famous artists at the time. This painting of Ginevra de' Benci makes a great addition to any wall art decor.
